So, I know I’ve been talking about it for quite some time now but I wanted to make sure I truly loved Smile Brilliant before speaking about it. I’ve been whitening at home every two days for the past two weeks and trust me when I say YESSS! Not only did I see results after taking my trays out after night two, so did James, and with outme asking (score!) It seriously is a professional teeth whitening kit with out the crazy price tag.

The process is super simple plus they provide so much information, it really is quite ideal for a person with a normal, busy life. So, the kit arrived and I created my molds. I totally didn’t think about taking pictures of the process but essentially, you mix blue putty with white putty, put it in the molds and stick them to your teeth for two minutes. It was cake you guys. Then you put the trays in the bag provided and send them back.

About a week or so later, I received my custom whitening trays and began to whiten! They say you can whiten for 30 minutes to 3 hours a day but I decided to start slow knowing my teeth could be sensitive (it’s professional grade whitening product). I do have to say though, with the desensitizing gel they give you, I only noticed a tiny amount of sensitivity, which is totally doable.

Unlike the whitening strips I’ve tried before, the trays stay in place and are SO comfortable. I seriously forget I’m wearing them if I don’t set a timer. Also, because they are a mold of your actual teeth, the whitening gel hits all the nooks and crannies. Prior to Smile Brilliant, I used Dr. George’s Whitening gel and a sleeping night guard that I molded to my teeth using boiling water. Although I saw minor results after a week straight of using it (not to mention sensitivity out the ying yang), it doesn’t even begin to compare with how white my teeth are now! I finally have the white teeth I’ve always wanted.
